It's Bigger Than You Think
The LORD has impressed upon me this week in a major way. He has shown me so many ways He has already blessed me, and He has shown me the ways He wants to bless me. God is moving mightily in the heavenly realm and here on the earth. The things happening in Israel and Gaza are not unknown to Him. They are biblical! That's right people, it's biblical. These things must take place in order for world-wide revival to take place. The key to world-wide revival is in the land of Israel. Israel is the apple of God's eye (see Zechariah 2:8), and it is the only nation in which God has established a covenant with. He did not establish a covenant with America, or China, or Europe, or Russia, or any other nation in the world. He loves Israel and He always has. That is not to say He doesn't love us outside of Israel, He does. There is a bigger picture to this though.
God has revealed to me and a lot of other believers already that all this is happening for a reason. Scripture says that in the end times "You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of the birth pains". (Matthew 24:6-8). It says in Luke 21:25-28 "There will be signs in the sun, moon and stars. On the earth, nations will be in anguish and perplexity at the roaring and tossing of the sea. People will faint from terror, apprehensive of what is coming on the world, for the heavenly bodies will be shaken. At that time they will see see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. When these things begin to take place, stand up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near."
These things are already happening, and we are living it.
So what do you do? You pray first and foremost for Israel and Jerusalem. You remain in fervent prayer for the people of those nations because it is your duty as a Christian to do so. It says in Psalm 122 to "Pray for the peace of Jerusalem", and I encourage you to read all of Psalm 122, as well as Psalm 124 and 125. The return of Jesus rests in Israel, in Jerusalem, and in our prayers. We need to be praying for peace, strategic wisdom, prophetic unction, dreams and visions from the LORD, the power of God in signs and wonders, that God will establish peace and Evangelism in Israel. We need to be praying for the spiritual return of the Jewish people to the Messiah (that is Yeshua aka Jesus), a physical return to their home land, and most importantly, we need to be moved with compassion for Israel and the Jewish people.
It says in Isaiah 62:1 that for Jerusalem's sake He will not remain quiet, till her vindication shines out like the dawn, her salvation like a blazing torch. And again in verses 6 & 7, "I have posted watchmen on your walls, Jerusalem;" (we are the watchmen) "they will never be silent day or night. You who call on the LORD, give yourselves no rest, and give Him no rest till He establishes Jerusalem and makes her the praise of the earth." We have a biblical assignment people, and like the title says, this is so much bigger than you or I. This is holy territory, there is a spiritual war taking place alongside a physical war. Do your duty as a soldier in the LORDs army, and pray for our brothers and sisters in Israel and Jerusalem. God blesses those who bless Israel. God blesses those who bless Jerusalem. Don't just sit around being silent and thinking this has nothing to do with you, IT DOES!!! It is real-life Bible prophecy being fulfilled before our very eyes. It's bigger than you, it's bigger than me. It's bigger than your religion, it's bigger than your ethnicity, it's bigger than the color of your skin right now. If you are a follower of Christ, a child of God, then you have an assignment to keep.
God Bless.
